YOUR ROLE:

Email Designer and Developer, who can take the lead on email initiatives for our Client. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating at a fast pace, is detail oriented, driven by results and has a high standard for quality. A passion for email and digital marketing, incredible ecommerce experiences and a can do approach are musts.

  • Has a strong background in email design with coding experience in support of websites, landing pages and social media platforms.
  • A strategic thinker and problem solver who can utilize existing email templates, but also continue to evolve our offering and approach based on current trends and industry best practices. 
  • Focused on email, but may also include some development (coding) for various other digital properties, including websites, landing pages, social media, banner ads, and more.  

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Overseeing HTML email/Website/Landing Page development and design, managing the implementation of larger scale design and HTML projects, and playing a central role in elevating the overall effectiveness of the email program through the creation of visually appealing emails and templates for various tours and artists.
  • Will entail participation in campaign ideation and assisting in the deployment of email campaigns via our email platform as needed. 
  • Develop responsive, cross browser-compatible, performant emails, websites and landing pages 
  •  Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Assist in the design of responsive, cross browser-compatible, performant websites and landing pages
  • Employ a consistent best-practice approach and provide expertise for creating email templates, testing methodologies and deliverability across all devices and email clients
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by back-end developers
  • Optimize execution of projects based on platform strengths, best practices, client objectives and deadlines provided
  • Work with internal front end developer; assisting in HTML template testing and modifications, hosting images, adding functionality to templates and updating HTML code as needed
  • Function as liaison between departments to assess project scope and delegate priorities in order to deliver special email programs in a deadline driven environment
  • Oversee and manage requests from several departments and work with internal/external partners to deliver specialized email programs
  • Oversee user acceptance and beta testing of new email marketing communications prior to launch, analyzing customer response and rolling out new products
  • Participate in campaign ideation and assist in the deployment of email campaigns via our email platform (ESPs like Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Exact Target/Itearble/Silverpop/Eloqua) as needed.
  • List upload, campaign set up, data segmentations and deployment of emails using various ESP (training will be provided)
  • Test and QA programming to ensure campaign deployment will operate as intended. 
  • Perform online campaign set-ups and segmenting of contacts
  • Stay current on ESP software and enhancements

DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

  • Expert in front-end web languages, primarily HTML/HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery
  • Expert in development of responsive HTML/CSS email/template and website/landing page development compatible with various email clients and devices
  • Proficient using the Adobe Creativity Suite, most specifically Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • In depth knowledge of popular JS libraries
  • Experience with WordPress and HTML5 banner development is a plus
  • Ability to work and thrive in fast-pace, high-volume, multi-tasking environment
  • Experience with email marketing software applications and ESPs
  • Strong visual skills in producing comps, icons, and other assets
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities to meet evolving deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience with ESPs and Marketing Automation Platform is a plus.
